Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz square up with each other in the octagon ring for the 2nd time in 6 months. Diaz came out on top in their 1st meeting at UFC 196, then they were supposed to meet at UFC 200 for a rematch, but somehow that didn’t happen and the fight was pushed further to UFC 202,
We are one day away from that historic fight. Their first fight broke all UFC PPV records and it is expected that their rematch will be even bigger. It has all the ingredients to become one of the best fights in UFC’s history as both McGregor and Diaz are two of the biggest names in UFC with a huge fan following.
Diaz was a slight underdog in the 1st fight, but after winning that one the tables have turned and now he is bookies favorite to repeat the feat. But you cannot take an opponent like “The Notorious” lightly, as he is a very clever fighter who must have learned from his mistakes and don’t expect him to repeat them this time around.

Also, Diaz will be better prepared for this fight as he has had much longer to prepare for the rematch. No doubt he will be fitter, stronger, and his confidence would be sky high after defeating the Irishman.
Nate Díaz said: “I’m gonna prepare. That’s about it. We’re gonna see. Same thing like I always say, we’ll go out there and my objective is to win, I’m gonna train hard and try to get it done. I believe I’m the superior martial artist. I’m just gonna go in there and get the job done and not get anything I don’t expect.”
Conor McGregor said:“I estimate that I’ll be fighting in enemy territory this time. Usually it’s been home for me in this place, with traveling fans. That’s what I’m estimating, that’s what I’ve been preparing for, that’s what I’m looking forward to. Let’s see what he has. Let’s see what his full camp has done.”
Let’s hope the fight is full of surprises and delivers what fans are expecting – drama, action, and blood!
The much anticipated fight will be held on August 20, 2016 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The co-main event will feature Anthony Johnson take on Glover Teixeira in the light heavyweight division.
