Daniel Cormier Blasts UFC 210 Poster Design

Light heavyweight champion Danial Cormier will be defending his title against Anthony Johnson at UFC 210 on April 8. UFC has released its 1st promotional poster, which has become a subject of debate for the Champ, as he took to Instagram to fork out his anger.

The issue is concerning the size of the image of both fighters, as Cormier’s image is made smaller in the foreground of the poster as compared the challenger who is shown much bigger in size, which seems to be the cause of concern for the 38-year-old.

Cormier said: “What is this? How many favors did Rumble have to call in to make this s–t happen? Just remember last time the challenger looked so big on the poster RDA beat cowboy in one round.”

DC was talking about to the UFC on FOX 17 event that headlined the rematch between Rafael dos Anjos and Donald Cerrone in December 2015. The pre-fight poster of that lightweight showdown resembles quite a lot with DC’s rematch against ‘Rumble’ Johnson.

Take a look at that poster and decide for yourself.

Cormier (18–1) and AJ (22–5) are both coming off impressive victories against Anderson “The Spider” Silva (UFC 200) and Glover Teixeira (UFC 202) respectively. The pair’s last meeting at UFC 187 in May 2015 ended with Cormier coming off a submission victory in 3rd round. Their rematch was initially set to take place at UFC 206, however DC pulled out because of a groin injury.

The UFC event will be co-headlined by another mouthwatering middleweight clash between the former champion Chris Weidman and Gegard Mousasi at the KeyBank Center in Baffalo, New York.

This will be the 2nd time UFC is hosting such an event in Baffalo since lifting of ban by the State of New York.
